One of the most watched matches in history, with a TV audience record, 650 M viewers in 2017 (!!).
The Clasico post 2010 era is divided into two stages:
– First, the tactical battle between the Barca of a Pep Guardiola who had developed one of the best teams in history, and a Real who came out of the trying period of the first Galactico and who counted on the tactical knowledge of Mourinho to thwart Barca. It gave rise to hyper physical Clasicos because of the climate established by the two coaches (a little more by Mou to be fair)

– And then the era after 2014, where R. Madrid, now reigning European champion, sure of its players (arrival Bale, Isco, Modric in 2012 and 2013) approached the Clasicos no longer in defending and counterattacking, but by trying to hold the ball, while counting on his tremendous offensive strength, now at the height of that of Barca.

And this is where things get interesting, because, after the 2014 World Cup, Barça recruits Luis Suarez, suspended, but coming out of an exceptional season with Liverpool, aligns him with Messi, at his prime, and Neymar, about to give the best seasons of his career, to form the 𝑀𝑆𝑁.

Opposite, Real Madrid has Bale, brilliant when left alone by his injuries, Cristiano Ronaldo who accumulates records, and Karim Benzema in a role of 10 and 9 at the same time, tailor-made for him, constituting the 𝐵𝐵𝐶.

These two giants, led by brilliant attacking trios, have provided some of the finest games of the modern era. Technical mastery, intensity, turnarounds… it was all there!
If I had to choose one of the most outstanding Clasico, I woud choose the one in Bernabeu, in 2017(as a madridista a bad memory!).
